The Garden

An immense field stretches out before you.
Time to create a little garden.
Time to spread some seeds.

The plants grow quickly in the fertile soil.
They produce good veggies and berries.
And make you happy.

Time to collect the harvest.
A beautiful, sunny day.
Some work. Some breaks. Some sweat. A big smile.

Tired, you sit and rest.
Just to realize it's time to sow the field again.
Time to get back to work.

This time it will take more effort.
The soil is less fertile now.
Yet you would like to expand the garden.

Many years pass.
The field is vast.
The excitement has faded.

You gave up on expanding the crop a while ago.
Instead, you chose to focus on the more productive plants.
And left the rest to rot.

You look tired.
But satisfied.
To your garden of knowledge.
